Lagos Police arrests 120 suspected cultists

The Lagos Police Command on Monday paraded 120 suspected cultists arrested from different parts of the state on Saturday, 7th of July, 2018, a day said to be sacred to cultists.

In a series of tweets on the Rapid Response Squad Twitter handle, the Police shared photos and video of the suspects as well as the items allegedly found on them.

Before Saturday, the Lagos State Police Commissioner, Imohimi Edgal, had dared cult groups — Aiye, Eiye, Black Axe, Buccaneers — serving notices to rival cult gangs in their neighbourhood to converge on Saturday 7/7 at locations and risk being arrested.

The Police followed through on its word with the arrest of the suspects.
