Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and their cousin Savannah Phillips clearly enjoyed the annual show of pomp and circumstance.

Trooping the Colour, the annual event to celebrate the Queen’s birthday, has quite the grand finale: a flyover of fighter jets that leave a patriotic stream of blue and white in their wake. And no one was more excited for this spectacle than Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

helicopter aficionado—planes, too, are probably totally up his alley.

The kids also got up to some playful hijinks during the national anthem. As the band played, Savannah did some animated mock conducting. Charlotte giggled, and George, it appears, started to sing—until Savannah put her hand over his mouth. Noticing the minor commotion, the Queen glanced over (whether out of amusement or annoyance is anyone’s guess). Mom Kate Middleton and dad Prince William also sensed something was amiss—but, bound by the formality of the event, simply looked on. The internet, naturally, loved the whole thing.

Prince Louis. Many thought he might make an appearance at the Trooping, since it’s one of the few events where the entire royal family gets together. However, it seems Will and Kate kept him at home—at one month old, he’s still probably too young for such a boisterous affair.

So when will the public see Prince Louis next? Likely at his christening, which is rumored to be sometime this summer. Here’s hoping George and Charlotte continue to make some great meme-able moments then, too.
