Each week, the Pulse team compiles a playlist of 10 of the best new songs you need on your playlist.

This week in October witnessed the release of new albums from the likes of Odunsi and Ladipoe with a large number of new singles also finding its way online.

Here is this week’s playlist of carefully selected songs for your listening pleasure this week.

Teffy – ‘Everything’

‘Everything’ is the latest single by Teffy, who last featured on our playlist with ‘Girate’ alongside BOJ.

Teffy captivates the audience with his unique flow on the wavy record as he reflects on life, his relationship, touching on the loss of his father five years ago.

”She thinks I go to the gym, cos I move like a heavyweight, just cause you know my brother doesn’t mean ‘O ma ba mi relate,” he sings.

The song was mixed and mastered by GMK.

 

A-Q – ‘The PVC Story’

The compelling single, ‘The PVC Story‘ released a few weeks ago by one of Nigeria’s most consistent rapper, A-Q now has a visual to go with it.

The PVC Story‘ tells the story of life in Nigeria, as A-Q tackles rape, drug abuse and elections with the visuals brilliantly executed by 19 year old director, Nora Awolowo, who put down her personal money to help document the socio-political record.

Soti – ‘Sweet Girl’

Soti replies Falz with the release of ‘Sweet Girl.’

Following the success of her single, ‘Eko Remix‘ which features Falz, Soti has now delivered the female version to Falz’s viral record, ‘Sweet Boy.’

Soti scores a delicate anthem that every member of the ‘Sweet Girls Association’ will be proud of.

 

Chinko Ekun – ‘Able God’ ft Lil Kesh & Zlatan

Indigenous rapper, Chinko Ekun teams up with Lil Kesh and Zlatan on this record called, ‘Able God.’

Fast becoming a viral hit, fueled by the various freestyles to the song, Chinko Ekun is calling on God to ensure that his life is free from ‘insufficient funds.’

The Rexxie produced song is one that the streets is already jumping on and is bound to become a bigger tune in the coming weeks.

 

Yinka Oshodi – ‘Continue’

Talented singer, Yinka Oshodi is out with her latest single ‘Continue.’

Continue is the second single from her forthcoming EP ”Spectrum”, and it is a playful love song that explores the inexplicable emotion/passion that lovers feel for each other.

Kolasoul – ‘Poppy Tail’

Kolasoul releases this beautiful number he titles, ‘Poppy Tail.’
