The Chinese manufacturer vivo is the official smartphone sponsor of the next two World Cup tournaments, including the one starting in Russia next month. Today the company held an event at Beijing’s Forest Park where it announced a new global campaign called “My Time, My FIFA World Cup”. It included the vivo Super Fan Photographer program, the vivo Super Time project and a new Limited Edition of its smartphone vivo V9.
vivo V9 Limited Edition UI features
The phone’s full name is vivo V9 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia and arrives in Blue color. Its internals are unchanged so you are still getting Android Oreo-based Funtouch OS and Snapdragon 626. This variant, though, will have an additional pack of apps that will enable you to follow your favorite team during the tournament and interact with other owners and fans. There are also plenty of themes to personalize the phone with a proper wallpaper of your team of interest.
Vivo corner at Beijing Forest Park
The unique corner at the Beijing Forest Park does not only sell vivo phones, but also has plenty of offline games and 1-to-1 activities for football fans. The Super Fan Photographer program was announced by the Brazilian football legend and World Cup winner Bebeto – it will enable 128 fans, celebrities and online influencers to share their point of view directly from the stadiums in Russia through “unprecedented close-up access”.
